This cables are usedwhen user want to run Single mode Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber optic plant.
Usually people use long wave transceiver modules for Gigabit Ethernet, these modules have to operate both single mode and multi mode fibers.this fiber patch cable consist of the multimode cable part and single mode cable part.By allowing the single mode laser launch to be offset away from the center of the multi mode fiber the mode conditioning patch cord reduces the effect of such differential mode delay.It is used in Equipment interconnection,High speed data transfer,Telecom network and Security connections.
