Libera Brilliance+: next generation of electron beam position processor Mar 4, 2011

Instrumentation Technologies presents an expanded Libera Brilliance platform at the 2010 BIW in Sante Fe. This expansion improves performance and dramatically increases functionality.

Since 2003, more than 2,000 Libera Electron and Brilliance BPMs have been installed. In 2007, Instrumentation Technologies began intensively developing a platform that provides proven, scalable, high-performance infrastructure for instrumentation development. It is consistent with the xTCA initiative initiated by leading research institutes and PICMG.

Expansion of the platform means current Libera users are assured this development builds on and integrates the existing Libera platform.Compatible functionality and seamless software possibilities, combined with a modular platform, move instrumentation "out of the box", offering unprecedented possibilities for both current and future machines and the expansion of firmware and software for users with known control system interfaces.
