Libera Brilliance – your cornerstone for beam stabilization Dec 19, 2007

Compared to its predecessor, it offers performance improved by orders of magnitude. It was developed to meet even the sharpest demands of upcoming projects and is based on the proven technology of Libera Electron, of which more than 1,300 units have been sold around the globe. Twenty-six different accelerators around the world use or evaluate Libera as the cornerstone for their beam stabilization. They use it during commissioning, regular operations, machine physics studies and, last but not least, for closing the fast feedback loop. Libera users have a great impact on the future development of Libera. During users' meetings, forum discussions and the special gathering on the occasion of the Libera Workshop, they generate the Libera Wish List, contributing the comments, suggestions and descriptions of need born by daily use of the system. The items from the wish list are included in the two yearly releases, of which subscribers can avail themselves. The recent release 1.80 was sent to subscribers in December 2007; meanwhile discussion on the Libera release 2.00, which is foreseen in late spring 2008, is already taking shape at our forum, http://www.i-tech.si/forum/.
