fundamental and applied research sources (beamlines) of energetic photons and charged particles accelerated or generated in laser-driven plasma under extremely high intensities of electromagnetic fields. The whole facility including the beamlines, experimental halls, target chambers, and associated physics processes will be visualized in a 3D WebGL application.

In our team we therefore have the following position available:

Scientific Data Visualization Specialist

Job description:

Development of solutions for 2D and 3D visualizations of various physics simulation datasets and captured experimental data
Collaboration on development of Virtual Beamline WebGL application - integration of visualization and data analysis functions
Development of processes and solutions for combining datasets for contextual front-toend scientific visualization of physics experiments and involved instruments

Required skills

Experience with multidimensional data visualization
Programming skills suitable for development and integration of interactive 3D data visualization functions into WebGL application (e.g. OpenGL, Python, Javascript, etc...)
Experience with physics visualizations
Very good working knowledge of English

Desired skills
