Collective Spin Transport in Electrical Insulators
About this event
From April 24 to May 26, the International Institute of Physics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (IIP-UFRN) will host in Natal (Brazil) the workshop “Collective Spin Transport in Electrical Insulators”, when researchers from different countries will discuss the latest achievements in the field of spintronics.
The central topics of this program include: collective spin transport, bosonic condensation and superfluidity of magnons, topological order and dynamics in magnetic systems, quantum correlations and novel quantum heterostructures for spintronics.
This long-term workshop will be the first-of-a-kind, with a goal to rally the community behind main questions that should guide new efforts in the years to come, constituting a very fertile ground for research and particularly suited for researchers (junior and senior) who are considering new directions in their careers.
Registrations are open until March 24 at www.iip.ufrn.br/events, where more about fees, list of speakers and the program are available. The IIP events manager will provide assistance to the ones interested in participate through the email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at +55 84 3342-2249 (ext 214/215).
