Cryogenic and Cryogen-free Probe Stations Lake Shore offers a complete line of cryogenic, vertical or horizontal field, magnet-based, load-lock and high vacuum micro-manipulated probe stations. Lake Shore probe stations enable reliable, unattended measurements at cryogenic temperatures from 1.5 K to 475 K and under the application of magnetic fields up to 30,000 G. Other features include a cryogen-free closed cycle refrigerator base, vacuum to 10-7 torr, and 4-inch wafer probes. These capabilities are ideal for measuring nanoscale electronics, quantum wires and dots, semiconductors, superconductors, spintronic devices, and other materials vital to the future development of nanoelectronic and nanomagnetic products. Lake Shore’s other measurement and control solutions for advanced research applications include: Fully integrated characterization systems such as electromagnet and superconducting magnet-based Hall effect measurement systems, electromagnet-based VSM and AGM systems, and a terahertz (THz) characterization system Temperature solutions such as cryogenic temperature sensors, controllers, monitors, a DC current source, an AC resistance bridge, and cryogenic accessories Magnetic solutions such as benchtop and handheld Hall effect gaussmeters, fluxmeters, Hall probes, Hall sensors, and Helmholtz coils.
