Gargamelle bubble chamber
The Gargamelle bubble chamber. With a length of 4.8 m and a diameter of 1.9 m, it held about 20 tons of freon. It operated over many years in neutrino beams at the CERN PS and SPS. The chamber body is now displayed in the CERN reception area.
