Electron Tubes' P25A and P30A ranges of analogue detector packages comprise a photomultiplier tube, a transimpedance amplifier and a negative high-voltage supply, all encapsulated within a compact assembly. The devices provide the ideal interface between photomultiplier tube and amplifier and are simple to use, requiring only low voltage supplies. The frequency response ranges from DC up to 100 MHz, which makes these packages ideal for measuring fast transient light sources ranging from weak to relatively high intensity. Aimed at the instrumentation market, they will be particularly useful in applications such as laser scanning and electron microscopy.
